
Congress: Brazilian Migration in Portugal: Experiences, Activism, and Social Movements
The Association of Brazilianists in Europe (ABRE) invites proposals for its IV International Congress, which will take place from September 5th to 8th, 2023, at the ICS - Institute of Social Sciences and ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal.
Europe has a strong tradition in Brazilian studies, as well as in scientific research or professional collaborations that are in some way connected to Brazil. ABRE aims to provide a transdisciplinary forum for exchange, dissemination, and communication among students and professionals working in Europe, interested in Brazil. The congresses it organizes every two years seek to bring together individuals conducting research or any other type of collaboration related to Brazil, not limited to European researchers and those affiliated with European institutions
